To avoid this type of problem, it is important to have regular routine check-ups at the frequency recommended by your dentist.

If you miss a few visits, a simple case of gingivitis can turn into periodontitis faster than you might think. This type of neglect can led to serious complications, such as more severe infections that may even require extracting one or more teeth. For that reason, we place tremendous importance on prevention and early treatment.

If you notice any swelling of your gums or bleeding when you brush, you may have the beginnings of gingivitis. Make an appointment right away. The effort will spare you consequences best avoided entirely.
